Week 10 - News Round Up!

'My Hero is You' is a story book that aims to help children understand and come to terms with COVID-19. The book explains how children can protect themselves, their families and friends from coronavirus and how to manage difficult emotions when confronted with a new and rapidly changing reality.
This gorgeous sunny weather has enabled us to enjoy learning outdoors this week; Bearemy has enjoyed the sunshine so much he felt inspired to write a poem about it!
We have been asked to share some very important safety information with you with regards to Water Safety.

Beach lifeguards cannot be everywhere this summer - it is vital everyone of us takes responsibility for our own, and our families', safety.
Water Safety Wednesdays!
the RNLI have produced Water Safety Videos which are perfect for primary-aged children. If you are looking for ways to engage, educate and entertain your children at home, this could help.
As always, our families keep persevering with the home learning when their children are not able to attend school. The quality of work has remained high and we are incredibly grateful for all the time and effort parents have put in to helping and guiding their children through school tasks. Thank you!

We have had another week of super weather. It has meant lots of outdoor learning at school and time for families to enjoy the 'great outdoors'. 
Keeping physically fit is so important for overall health.  Spending time together outside is wonderful for our mental health as it helps us to put life in perspective and relax in the fresh air.
I have to say I feel rather jealous of the Irish family!
