AONB Rocks!

16th January 2020
Today we were lucky to be visited by Gemma and Naomi from North Pennines AONB Partnership ( Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty). They had come to share their fun resources and expertise as geologists and talk to the whole school about the interesting landscapes we find in our area and how they were formed.

Year 3 and Year 4 took part in some workshop activities to discover in more detail about what lies under the surface of our North East Region. This work built on and reinforced their previous study of rocks last term.
