Ofsted Inspection

23rd January 2019
OFSTED Inspection
23.1.19

Ofsted visited the school to carry out a short one-day inspection of Slaley First School on Wednesday, 23.1.19.  They were here to check that we are still a 'good' school and that safeguarding is 'effective'.

We are extremely happy to say that the Ofsted Inspector (Mr. Phil Scott) found that:
  • The school continues to be good
  • Safeguarding is effective
Many key strengths are highlighted in the Ofsted Inspection Letter (link below) along with the 'next steps' for the school.

Please take the time to enjoy reading what Mr. Scott had to say about our 'lovely school'.

Thank you again for your continued support, which has enabled the school to move forward so effectively in unity with the wider community.

Best wishes,
Mrs. Debbie Brett
(Headteacher)
