Complaints Procedure

Slaley First School has an agreed procedure for any complaints, which follows NCC guidelines. In the first instance, any matter of concern should be raised with the appropriate child's teacher. If the matter of concern continues, this should then be brought to the attention of the Headteacher. We would hope to fully discuss, explore and resolve the area of concern at this stage. 

In exceptional circumstances, the Chair of Governors would be approached. However, the Headteacher would need to be made fully aware of such action e.g. a copy of any letters sent to the Chair, details of the complaint raised and any further information.
