| The Millennium Tapestry was
designed and made by all the children at Slaley First School, and was
completed in the summer of 2000. It was exhibited at Alnwick Castle
and Hexham Abbey, and now hangs in the School Hall.
The design is based on the themes of "The Mind" and
"Friends", and shows some of the places and features that the children chose
to represent Slaley. |
